CM Mohan Proposes Rs 2.65 Lakh Cr Budget

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, who also holds the Finance hand, presented the BJP government’s first Annual Budget 2024-25 in the Odisha Assembly Thursday.

CM Majhi proposed a Budget Estimation for the year 2024-25 for Rs 2.65 lakh crore which is about 15% more than the Budget Estimate for 2023-24.

The outlay of Rs 2.65 crore is proposed to be financed mainly through revenue receipts of Rs.2,11,000 crore & borrowing and other receipts of Rs 54,000 crore while the fiscal deficit is estimated to be 3.5 per cent of GSDP for 2024-25 FY.
