CM Mohan presents report card of 1 year of BJP Govt

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today presented the report card of one year of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Odisha.
Addressing the media in Bhubaneswar on the eve of the first anniversary of his government, the CM said, “In this short period of time, we have been able to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the four and a half crore people of the state. The biggest proof of this is that in just a few days, the general public has called the new government a ‘people’s government’ and the Chief Minister of the state a ‘people’s Chief Minister.”
“With the blessings of Lord Jagannath, we have been able to fulfill all our major promises. Behind each of our programs, there is the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has come to us in all our endeavors and with his inspiration, all our programs have become successful. On the 20th of this month, he will come to Odisha for the sixth time and will inspire us to serve the people of Odisha. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Prime Minister for his unwavering support and continuous cooperation and guidance,” he added.
The Chief Minister also said, “The first cabinet meeting on the evening of June 12, 2024, started with four important decisions such as launching of Subhadra Yojana, to provide Rs 800 input assistance for paddy procurement, opening of the four gates of Puri Jagannath Temple and creation of a corpus fund of Rs 500 crore for the Shree Mandir.”
He further said, “In the last 12 months, we have been able to fulfill almost all the major promises. From becoming the first state in the country to empower women by creating 17 lakh Lakhpati Didis, record allocation of Rs 37,838 crore in the agriculture sector with the Samruddhi Krushi yojana, establishment of Godabarish Mishra Adarsha Prathamik Vidyalaya (GMAPV), implementation of the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and setting up of Shishu Vatika under it, implementation of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, record allocation of Rs 65,102 crore for infrastructure, allocation of Rs 68,881 crore for the welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, show the policies and regulations of our government.”
The CM also sent a strong message against corruption and corrupt officials saying that from peons to IAS officers—no corrupt person is safe. Corruption will be punished with jail, without exception.
