CM Mohan & Naveen Patnaik Condole Death of Pope Francis

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and the Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik condoled the  death of Pope Francis on Monday. The CM of Odisha Mohan Majhi took to his official X Handle and wrote:

“Deeply saddened by the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, who will always be remembered for his compassion and humility. As the first Latin American leader of the Roman Catholic Church, he inspired millions across the world with his message of unity and love.”

The CM further said, “My heartfelt condolences to the global Catholic community.” The LoP of Odisha Naveen Patnaik took to his official X Handle and wrote:

“Deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of His Holiness Pope Francis. His Papacy was exemplified by compassion, humility and promotion of interfaith dialogue. May his soul rest in peace.” The LoP further added, “My thoughts and prayers are with his millions of fans and followers.”
