CM Mohan Expresses Grief Over Death of Gajapati ADM

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi expressed his deep grief over the death of Birenda Kumar Das, the Additional District Collector of Gajapati district.

Das collapsed on the stage while reciting a bhajan of lord Jagannath during a dinner party in Brundavan Palace in Paralakhemundi last night. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

“Shri Das was a dedicated, responsible officer who always worked for the public. He was universally admired for his superior administrative skills. The state lost an efficient administrative officer like him”, said the CM. Majhi prayed for the immortal soul and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.
