CM dedicates, lays foundation of several projects in Ganjam

Ganjam, Nov 10: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated a slew of projects in Ganjam district during his day-long visit to Sheragada block worth over Rs 109 crore.
The Chief Minister paid floral tributes to Biju Patnaik and then laid the foundation stones of different development projects after arriving at Shergada block in his own Hinjili Assembly constituency.
He inaugurated a new ITI set up with a budget of Rs 8 crore at Sheragada, and a newly constructed Skill Development Centre developed at a cost of Rs 1.90 crore.
Besides, he inaugurated a bridge over Rushikulya River from Jhagadai to Jahada built at a cost of Rs 11 crore, a bridge over Nandini canal, Sheragada Panchayat Bhawan and a street lighting project.
Later he visited Hinjili and Chhatrapur to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of several other developmental projects.
Patnaik inaugurated the newly built 100-seated girls’ hostel of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya (estimated cost Rs 1.90 crore).
He also distributed assets and benefits to the beneficiaries under various developmental schemes on the dais of ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ at Sheragada.
Besides, he received project proposals amounting Rs 25 lakhs under ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ and announced instant approval.
Addressing the people during the Ama Gaon Ama Bikash programme, the Chief Minister urged the villagers to execute quality work on schedule.
“I’m delighted to meet lots of people here. My Government’s efforts are going on for the development of this region,” he said.
In Hinjilicut and Chatrapur also he dedicated and laid foundation stones of several developmental projects, distributed assets and benefits to the beneficiaries under various developmental schemes and attended ‘Ama Gaon Ama Bikash’ programmes.
In Hinjilicut the Chief Minister inaugurated the new building of RMC, laid foundation stones of 2×40 MVA 132/33 KV GIS Grid Sub-Station for Hinjilicut and H.L. Bridge over Ghodahada river at Sompur-singipur road.
In Chhatrapur, he inaugurated and visited the new Zilla Parishad Bhawan, the new District Panchayat Resources Centre, new Swimming Pool, new building of Regional Transport Office (RTO) and new building of Purushottampur Police Station.
Besides, he laid foundation stone of Hygienic Dry Fish Market, Humma.
