Class 9 Student Dies in Road Accident in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A Class 9 student tragically lost his life in a road accident in Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 14-year-old Ayushman Behera, a student of Saraswati Sishu Vidya Mandir in Dhanupali. The incident occurred around 10:45 AM while he was returning from school.

According to reports, a tractor allegedly hit the boy, leaving him critically injured. Local residents rushed to the spot, rescued the child, and immediately took him to the Sambalpur District Headquarters Hospital. However, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

The incident has triggered grief in the local community. Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
