Chhena poda a cheese dessert from the Indian state of Odisha. Chhena poda is known as one of the Indian dessert whose flavor is predominantly derived from the caramelization of sugar. It is also believed that Chhena Poda is the favorite sweet of Lord Jagannath, and even the people of Odisha love this sweet dish, Chhena Poda Dibasa is being celebrated across Odisha today with people relishing the delicious dessert.

The sweet dish has been originated in Dasapalla village in 1947 by Late Sudarsan Sahu.Chhena Poda Dibasa is celebrated as a tribute to late Sudarshan Sahu of Nayagarh, who is considered as inventor of the sweetmeat.
