CG Road Mishap: CM Naveen Announces Ex-Gratia for Kin Of Deceased Labourers

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau):  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for the next of the kin of the deceased persons of Ganjam district killed in severe road mishap in Raipur of neighbouring Chhattisgarh today.

CM Naveen expressed deep grief over the death of seven persons of the southern district and conveyed his deep sympathy to the bereaved families. Besides, Naveen announced free medical treatment for the injured persons and wished their speedy recovery .

Naveen also directed Rural Development and Labour Minister Susanta Singh to immediately proceed to Raipur to extend necessary assistance to the victims of accident. He also asked DGP Abhay to remain in touch with his Chhattisgarh counterparts for coordination.
