CBI Seizes Rs 10L Cash from Luxury Car in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) seized Rs 10 lakh in cash from a luxury Mercedes car near Mayfair Hotel in Bhubaneswar on Saturday evening.

According to sources, a Central government official and a realtor were traveling in the vehicle when it was intercepted by CBI officials with assistance from local police. The cash was confiscated, and the car’s occupants were taken to the CBI regional office for questioning.

Reports suggest that the CBI had been tracking the car owner’s movements for three months. A six-member team from the agency’s Delhi office had recently arrived in Bhubaneswar to monitor the individual.
