Brown Sugar worth 1cr Seized from Jatani, 2 Held

Khordha (Pramit Pramathes): 87 grams of brown sugar worth rupees 1 crore has been seized from Jatani area of Khordha district. The drug task force of Commissionerate Police Cuttack-Bhubaneswar raided 2 places and seized 87 grams of brown sugar.

The cops have also arrested 2 people in this row. One of the arrested accused Sukanta, is a resident of Patamundaie area. The other Dilip Harichandan, is a resident of Jariput in Khordha.

Sukanta has been arrested from Laxman Nayak slum of Nayapalli whereas Dilip has been arrested from IIT Road, Khordha. A motorcycle and some cash money have been recovered from them.
