Boy films reel by lying on railway track, arrested

Boudh: The Government Railway Police (GRP) reportedly arrested three minor youths on charges of filming reels by lying on the railway track in Odisha’s Boudh district.

The Balangir GRP arrested the boys with the help of Baunsuni Police in Boudh district after their dangerous reel went viral in the area recently.

The boys reportedly filmed the reel near Talupali village on Sunday at 5 PM with the aim to garner viewership on the social media platforms.

In the viral video, one of the boys was seen lying on the railway track near Talupali village on Boudh-Balangir route while another was instructing him not to get up and the third one was shooting the life risking act on his mobile phone.

After getting to know about the reel, the Balangir GRP initiated an investigation and arrested the boys with the help of the Baunsuni Police of Boudh district today.

Meanwhile, the GRP advised the general public to refrain from filming such dangerous reels/videos, or else will face strict action.
