Boy, 12, for raping, impregnating 16-year-old sister, Arrested

Noida: In a shocking incident, a 12-year-old boy was arrested and sent to a juvenile justice center for allegedly raping and impregnating his 16-year-old sister in Noida

The matter came into the light after when the girl’s employers found out about the pregnancy and informed Childline.

As per reports, the victim used to go together with her mother, a domestic help, to houses where they shared work. Some days earlier the girl’s employers notice a bump on her belly and asked her about it. Finally, she confessed that her younger brother had intercourse with her twice a couple of months ago. The employees called Childline and the police.

Police started investigating the matter and after investigation police told both the children were minor and unaware of the consequences of their actions.

The victim had confided in her mother about the incident but she had brushed it aside.

The victim has also been sent to a shelter where She will undergo an ultrasound to determine the status of her pregnancy.
