Bobby Das’ Brother Arrested in Assault Ase

Bhubaneswar: Bhaba Prakash Das, a brother of former Biju Janata Dal Organisation Secretary Pranab Prakash Das alias Bobby Das, has been arrested by Jajpur police for allegedly threatening a businessman of Biraja Haat recently. The Police had picked up Bhaba Prakash Das last night.He was produced in the Residence Court of Jajpur Sub-divisional Magistrate following his arrest.

A case over a road block case near Budhaghat has also been registered against him under sections 469, 470, 471 and 472.According police sources he was also interrogated at the kalinga Nagar police Station after being detained.Bhaba Prakash is also alleged to have attacked the vehicle of Dharmashala MLA Himanshu Sahu and assaulted the MLA’s personal security officer Shakti Prasad Rout.
