BMC Vehicles in RTO Snare

Bhubaneswar (Saroj Rout): With the fine collection drive under the new motor vehicle act 2019 entering day-3 across the State today, at least two garbage collection trucks of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation have been fined a total Rs 32,500 for violating traffic rules.

The vehicles were caught by the commissionerate traffic in Raghunathpur in this morning  and were fined for not having authorized vehicle registration document and not adhering to the air and noise pollution norm.

While one vehicle was slapped with a fine of Rs 32,500 the other one received a fine of Rs 10,000.
