BJP to launch go to villages & houses campaign 

In order to get in touch with the neglected other backward classes (OBCs) in the state, the Odisha unit of BJP has planned to organise “Gaon Gaon Chala, Ghar Ghar Chala Abhiyan” (go to villages and houses campaign) .

Briefing about the campaign,

national vice-president of BJP’s OBC Morcha Krishna Gaur said that this campaign is basically for the OBC people who are being sidelined by the BJD government during its 23 year rule.

Gaur said this “The backward classes form about 54% of Odisha’s total population, but the state government has failed to ensure proper education, healthcare, jobs and reservations in the elections to local and urban bodies,” so to fight for the people rights and regain their powers we are on our pathway.

Besides, The BJP would launch the “Gan Gan Chala” campaign on April 6 on the occasion its foundation day.

Talking about the powers Gaur said, that the state government has made a constitutional body like Odisha State Commission for Backward Classes totally powerless.
