BJP Announces Odisha State President Poll Schedule

Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has officially announced the election schedule for the Odisha State President and National Council members, in line with the party’s constitutional provision mandating organizational elections every three years.

According to the released schedule, the Provisional Voters’ List will be published on July 6 at 11 AM, followed by the investigation of complaints from 12 noon to 2 PM on the same day. The Final Voters’ List will be published between 2 PM and 5 PM on July 6.

The nomination process will take place on July 7 from 11 AM to 2 PM, followed by scrutiny of nominations between 2 PM and 3 PM. The final list of candidates along with symbol allotment will be announced on July 7 at 4 PM.

If required, polling will be held on July 8 from 9 AM to 11 AM, and the results will be declared at 11:30 AM the same day.

To ensure a smooth and transparent process, Bihar MP Sanjay Jaiswal has been appointed as the central observer for the election.

The BJP has already completed its organizational elections at the local, Mandal, and district committee levels. The focus now shifts to leadership selection at the state and national levels, which will play a key role in shaping the party’s strategy and direction in Odisha.
