BJD to Stage Protest in Odisha Over Rising Prices on January 6

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has announced plans to stage a protest on January 6, 2025, against the rising prices of essential commodities in Odisha. BJD leaders made the announcement during a press conference held in Bhubaneswar today.

The protest will take place at Lower PMG in Bhubaneswar, where party members will express their concerns over the increasing costs of gas, petrol, pulses, oil, and other daily necessities.

“The sudden price hike is becoming a heavy burden on the people of Odisha. We will not remain silent until the situation is brought under control,” said BJD leaders.

The party aims to draw attention to the issue and demand immediate action to ease the financial strain on the public.
