BJD Parliamentary Meet at Naveen Niwas

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Parliamentary Party meeting was convened this evening at Naveen Niwas, chaired by party president and Parliamentary Party chairperson Naveen Patnaik.

All seven BJD Rajya Sabha MPs attended the meeting and congratulated Patnaik for Odisha’s recognition as the No. 1 state in fiscal management, as per the NITI Aayog Fiscal Health Index Report-2025. Odisha achieved the highest overall fiscal health score of 67.8% in 2022-23. The MPs expressed their gratitude to Patnaik for his leadership, which transformed Odisha from financial bankruptcy in 2000 to a fiscally stable and top-performing state.

During the meeting, Patnaik encouraged the MPs to represent Odisha and its 4.5 crore citizens with dedication in Parliament. He urged them to fight for the state’s rights and dignity on the national stage.
