BJD MLAs to take development message to people

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) will be observing its 21st Foundation Day today at every constituency and block level in Odisha with an aim involve everyone at the grassroots in its celebrations.

Chief Minister and party supremo Naveen Patnaik will flag off the celebrations from the State Headquarters here at 11 AM, with more than 5000 persons including MPs, MLAs of nearby constituencies and party functionaries attending the meeting,

Patnaik have asked his party MLAs to focus on their constituencies and communicate  the achievements of the BJD Government and fulfillment of promises made in the 2014 election manifesto.

Construction of pucca houses under Biju Pucca Ghara Yojana, providing land titles for urban slum dwellers, decision of providing crop loans to sharecroppers, Bhubaneswar becoming the Sports Capital of India and major infrastructure projects like construction of Gurupriya Bridge are some of the achievements which the BJD plans to cash on.
