Bhubaneswar: Bus driver’s presence of mind saves many lives

The bus on the way to Bhubaneswar from Puri hit a tree on roadside near Kalpana Square here today injuring seven persons.
According to the source the incident took place after the ill-fated bus carrying around 60 passengers lost control due to break failure and hit the tree near the State Museum.

The following injured persons rescued by Fire service personnel from the bus and shifted to Capital hospital here for treatment.
Showing exemplary presence of mind, the bus driver saved lives of a number of passengers travelling by his bus by making the bus moved on the divider.
