Bhartruhari Mahtab reviews Cuttack’s growth blueprint with CM

Bhubaneswar: Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab today held high-level meeting with Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today and reviewed the growth blueprint of Cuttack.
The Cuttack MP met the CM at Lok Seva Bhawan in the presence of Anu Garg, the Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary of the Departments of Water Resources and Planning & Convergence Department and Hemant Sharma, the Principal Secretary of Industries.
During the meeting, they discussed key developmental initiatives for the Cuttack parliamentary constituency. However, special focus was given for a vending zone at OMP Square, a convention center, and a new park at Press Chhak of the silver city.
They also discussed about the improvement of the Ranihat area, integrated development of Satyabhamapur and birthplace of Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das.
Besides, the drainage master plan for Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Cuttack Development Authority (CDA) areas were also discussed by both Mahtab and Majhi.
The other important projects that were included in the high-level meeting today are a proposed barrage on the Mahanadi River, revival of Badamba Sugar Mill and Bhagatpur Cotton Mill and cold storage facilities at the sub-division level.
Soon after the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to fast-track these initiatives and ensure coordinated action.
