Baripada: Naveen Inaugurates Adani-KISS Residential School
Baripada: Odisha chief minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the Adani-KISS Residential School for giving free education to tribal students at Bankishola of Mayurbhanj District today. The school has been built on an area of 15 acres.
While the KIIT and KISS founder and member of parliament Dr Achyuta Samanta remained present during the inaugural ceremony, the chairman and founder of Adani Group Gautam Adani, chairperson of Adani Foundation Dr Priti Adani and CEO, Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd Karan Adani, Rajya Sabha Member Sarojini Hembram and local MLA Prakash Soren were also present at the grand event.
“It is a matter of extreme happiness that the KISS today established a branch here with the support of Adani Group. We all know KISS had done a huge for the education of tribal children in Odisha. I thank the Adani Group and KISS for their superb initiative,” said the chief minister.
The Adani-KISS Residential School has a capacity to admit one thousand and five hundred students in the first phase in Standard one to twelve. They would be given free education like capital branch.
