Balangir: 3 Dead in Accidents

Balangir:  In two separate road accidents in Balangir three persons were dead including one elderly man and one woman.

In one of the accidents a biker hit an elderly man on Saramuhan Ulaba under Patnagarh police station of Balangir district on Sunday. Two people were coming in the bike. The elderly man died on the spot while two others are critically injured. The critical have been rushed for treatment to Balangir medical.

The biker identified as Rajesh Sahu was declared dead by the doctors on arriving in the hospital. While the other one is undergoing treatment in Balangir medical. The deceased elderly man has been identified as Rakhyakari Nayak of Tendapadar village.

In another accident near Balangir town police, a truck hit a bike and one woman died in the accident. Two other people were rushed to the Balangir medical in a critical condition.

The deceased has been identified as Mamata. The truck driver escaped from the scene after hitting the bike. Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
