Balangir: 2 Unidentified Youths’ Bodies Found from Pond

Balangir: Locals of Kantabanji area in Balangir district were shocked after they saw two unidentified youths’ bodies floating in a village pond in the wee hours today. The incident was reported in Bhoipada village under the Muribahal police limits in the district. A bike was also found on NH-59 near the pond.

The villagers immediately informed the police about the incident. On being informed, the Muribahal police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation after fishing out the two bodies.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The prima fasciae reports suggest that it’s a road mishap. Further investigation is on considering the surroundings of the spot, said police adding we can’t deny the allegations of murder or any foulplay in the case.
