Baikuntha Dham to Get Crushed Under Bull-Dozer

Bhubaneswar: The Baikuntha Dham of the minor self-styled Godman at Khandagiri is likely to get crushed under bull-dozer today after the land was measured on Tuesday. The building has been constructed at an estimated value of Rs eight (8) crore and by the illegal encroachment of government land.

The General Administration (GA) department after valuation of the property and the nearby areas estimated that it is built on the land costing a whopping Rs 8 crore. It was also found that government land of 0.140 decimals on plot numbers 9037 and 9038 on Ghatikia (mz) was encroached to build the Baikuntha-Dham of Kashinath.

On the directions of the District Magistrate, Khordha, a team consisting of officials of GA, BDA (Bhubaneswar Development Authority) and Tehsildar estimated the building on the basis of the map on Tuesday. Another room for the foreigner devotees to stay was found during the estimate. Ironically, locals were not allowed to enter this secret room. On Tuesday, the ashram will be broken by a bull-dozer.

The ashram got into controversy as a minor posed himself as Kalki Baba, incarnation of  Lord Jagannath. The self-styled Godman has been absconding ever since police probe started.
