Attack on Kharabela Swain: Crime Branch to probe

It may recalled that Utkal Bharat Party state president and ex MP Kharabela Swain had been recently attacked by a youth in a meeting in Kashipur. Earlier also some violent incidents have happened where he was attacked.

Kharabela Swain had lodged a complaint with the Rayagada Additional SP Patitapabana Choudhury.

However,the Police DG Rajendra Prasad Sharma has said that Crime Branch will investigate the matter. It is because of the repeated nature of the attacks that has prompted handing over the case to Crime Branch.
