Assembly Budget Session in Odisha Begins Today

Bhubaneswar (Pramit Pramathes): Assembly Budget Session of Odisha state will begin today and continue till April 9 in two phases. Governor Ganeshi Lal is scheduled to address the House.

Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari will present the annual Budget for 2020-21 on February 18. The Odisha Government is expected to introduce and pass several bills during the Budget Session. Earlier, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patra had convened an all-party meeting to ensure smooth conduct of the House proceedings during the Session.
