Armed Dacoity in Bhadrak: Seven Injured, Including Three Women

Bhadrak: An armed dacoity took place at Bada Napang village in Bhandaripokhari, Bhadrak district, on Wednesday night, leaving seven people injured, including three women.

According to reports, six armed miscreants carried out a pre-planned robbery at the house of Madhab Sethi. They first let the poultry outside Sethi’s house out of their cages, causing a disturbance. When Madhab and his family members stepped outside to investigate the noise, the miscreants attacked them and looted valuables from the house.

Three women and four other family members sustained injuries during the incident. The victims were immediately taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Bhandaripokhari for treatment.

Police have launched an investigation and are working to identify the perpetrators. Further details are awaited.
