Anjum Moudgil aims for Tokyo Games gold
Anjum Moudgil completed the formalities at the 62nd National Shooting Championship competition in Thiruvananthapuram, winning five gold medals for the second successive year. Chahat Deep Kaur(Punjab,617.6) and Tejaswini Sawant(Maharashtra,617.1) were second and third respectively.
Anjum will be concentrating on her fitness as she wants to be in her top form till 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
“I want to be the first Indian(women) at the podium in Tokyo”, Anjum said.
Anjum will be competing in four World Cups-New Delhi (Feb 20-28), Beijing (Apr 23-Mar 1), Munich (May 24-31), Rio De Janeiro (Aug 26-31).one Asian Championship (Doha, Nov 3-11) as well as national trials to be held in the coming days.
