Angul: Elderly Woman Killed in Tusker Attack

Angul: In another incident of tusker attack, an elderly woman was killed by a tusker in Jamunda Koliapasi Sahi under Bantala forest range in Angul district on Friday. The deceased woman has been identified as Baidehi Pradhan.

According to the information, the incident occurred while Baidehi had gone to the backyard of her house to collect mangoes. The elephant, which had reportedly entered the village in search of food, trampled Baidehi to death.

Being informed, forest officials and local police reached the spot and started a probe into the incident.
