Amazon Fresh expands to over 170 cities, bringing quality groceries to smaller towns across India

Bhubaneswar: Amazon India has announced the expansion of its full-basket grocery service, Amazon Fresh, to over 170 cities and towns nationwide. This milestone follows a remarkable 50 per cent year-over-year growth in H2 ’24, underscoring Amazon Fresh’s rise as one of the fastest-growing categories on Amazon.in.

The service offers an extensive range of groceries, including fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, frozen products, baby care essentials, and more. With a focus on freshness and quality, Amazon Fresh sources produce from over 11,000 farmers and employs a rigorous four-step quality check process for every product.

Srikant Sree Ram, Director of Amazon Fresh India, highlighted the service’s growing presence in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, bringing high-quality groceries at competitive prices to customers’ doorsteps.
