Ahead Of Tika Utsav, 2.5 Lakh Covishield Doses Reach Odisha
Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Around 2.5 lakh doses of Covishield arrived in Bhubaneswar today as the state going to observe Tika (vaccine) Utsav tomorrow.
“We are expecting to receive 2.5 lakh doses of Covishield which will be sent to all districts. Vans from all districts have reached Bhubaneswar to take their share of the vaccine doses,” Health and Family Welfare Director Bijay Panigrahi had said earlier in the day.
“Tika Utsav will be observed in the state tomorrow. Vaccine doses will be given at all centers throughout the state tomorrow,” he added.
Except for Bhubaneswar, The Covishield vaccine is administered to people across the state
