Adivasi Mela 2025 to Begin in Bhubaneswar on January 5

Bhubaneswar: The Adivasi Mela 2025 will begin on January 5 at Unit-3 Exhibition Ground in Bhubaneswar, according to an official release from the Information and Public Relations (I&PR) department.

Organized by the Odisha Government’s ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes department, the annual tribal fair will run for a week and showcase a vibrant display of tribal culture, lifestyle, and traditions. The event will feature a tribal village, a tribal market, live demonstrations, and a special pavilion dedicated to the legendary freedom fighter Birsa Munda.

Preparations are underway at the venue for the grand event. The Adivasi Mela coincides with the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas, scheduled to be held in Bhubaneswar from January 8-10, 2025.
