Ace Educationist Bijay Sahoo is No More

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya advisor and SAI International School Chairman Bijay Sahoo passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad today. He was 58.

Bijay had tested positive for novel Coronavirus two months ago. He was undergoing treatment in a private hospital for post-Covid complications in Hyderabad. According to reports, Bijay was under extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) treatment at KIMS Hyderabad for the past few days. He succumbed to the complications today afternoon.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik expressed his condolence. “Deeply saddened to know about the passing away of noted educationist and entrepreneur, Dr. Bijaya Kumar Sahoo. As Advisor of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan, he had a pioneering role in transforming Govt School education. My condolences to his family, friends & students,” tweeted the Chief Minister.
