Dy Ranger Rama Nepak Arrested by Vigilance

Jeypore: Deputy Ranger Rama Chandra Nepak of Jeypore Forest Range in Koraput has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance in a DA (Disproportionate Assets) case.
Reports said that, he will be forwarded today to the Court of Special Judge Vigilance in Jeypore for possession of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.
In this connection, Koraput Vigilance PS case No.25/2025 has been registered against Rama Chandra Nepak the Deputy Ranger of Jeypore Forest Range in Koraput.
Based on searches conducted on properties of Rama Chandra Nepak, Deputy Ranger, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including huge cash amount of Rs. 1.43 crores, a multi-storied building, three flats, two high value plots, deposits over Rs.1.33 crore, gold 1.504 kg, silver 4.637 kg, 2 four wheelers etc, which he could not account for satisfactorily.
The investigation in this regard is still underway and continuing.
