Heavy Rain Alert For 10 Odisha Districts

Bhubaneswar: Heavy rains are coming to Odisha. The Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for 10 districts for heavy rains tomorrow.

Besides, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the state due to the low pressure ahead. Another low pressure is forming in the Bay of Bengal. On the 24th, a cyclone will form in the Bay of Bengal and turn into a low pressure area.

The low pressure will form in the area adjacent to the north Bay of Bengal. Later, it may intensify further and turn into a depression. As the low pressure is likely to move west-northwestwards, there will be heavy rain in north Odisha first.

Later, it will reach Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. As a result, heavy rain is likely in the border and interior districts.

A yellow alert has been issued for 12 districts for heavy rain with thunderstorms today. And a thunderstorm warning has been issued for all other districts.
