Anti ageing medicines may have caused Shefali Jariwala’s sudden cardiac arrest

Actor Shefali Jariwala’s untimely death has raised widespread alarm, with sources hinting that her intake of anti-ageing drugs could have been a major contributing factor to her cardiac arrest. It is reportedly learnt that Shefali had been taking these drugs daily for the last 7-8 years under a doctor’s prescription. Interestingly, on the fatal day, she had administered an injection of anti-ageing drug after fasting for a puja at home.

The probe into the death of Shefali continues, with eight individuals, including relatives, domestic staff, and doctors, having given statements to the police. The forensic team has also collected from her house different items like anti-ageing vials, vitamin tablets, and gastric pills. The reason for her death is yet to be officially declared, and further action will be based on the outcome of the postmortem examination and chemical report of the seized material.

Shefali’s husband, Parag Tyagi, took her to the hospital in a rush as her health suddenly collapsed, but she was pronounced dead on arrival. Footage from outside the hospital revealed Parag crying. The family has not issued an official statement yet but sources reveal that until now, no evidence of fight or altercation has been discovered.

Shefali initially rose to popularity with her 2002 video “Kaanta Laga,” which was a huge hit. She subsequently featured in the movie “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi” with Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan and went on to do TV shows such as “Nach Baliye” and “Bigg Boss 13.” Her last rites were conducted in Mumbai last night, which was attended by her close family members and friends.
