IndiGo flight applies emergency brake at Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar: The series of flight mishaps seems to be never ending with a recent such development coming from Bhubaneswar airport said reports on Thursday.
According to reports, the pilot of the IndiGo flight had to apply emergency brakes. He had to abort the takeoff due to a bird hit. IndiGo flight 6E- 6101 from Bhubaneswar to Kolkata encountered a bird hit before take-off at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar.
The pilot immediately aborted the take-off and applied emergency brakes to stay safe. The aircraft was inspected for damage and no injuries were reported among the passengers or crew.
The incident disrupted flight operations for some time. However, the information about the damage to the aircraft is yet to be obtained. Detailed reports in this regard awaited.
