Vineel, The Powerhouse

Bhubaneswar (Surjit Kumar Dhal): R. Vineel Krishna, IAS, seems to be the super star of Odisha. Recently built world’s biggest hockey stadium in Rourkela is the biggest achievement of this special secretary to CM. He is the real sports developer of Odisha. Under his supervision, all the sports projects are being executed.

Vineel Krishna, the former managing director of Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) and Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd (OMECL), has been appointed as the Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Krishna was also the Director of Sports Department and OSD (Covid Management) in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). The 2005-batch IAS officer is now holding the post of Special Secretary in the Sports and Youth Services Department as an additional charge.

The IAS also adopts government schools in Odisha under the ‘Mo School’ programme of Naveen’s Government. The IAS was abducted by the Maoists when he was the Collector of Malkangiri. He always dedicates himself for the betterment of the common men. Really he is a crest jewel of Odisha bureaucracy.
