Odisha to Receive Rainfall Today

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): A Low Pressure is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal in the next 12 hours, the India Meteorological Department said today.

“The cyclonic circulation over Southeast Bay of Bengal & neighborhood now lies over Southeast adjoining Southwest Bay of Bengal extending up to 3.1 km above mean sea level. It is likely to move westwards. Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over central parts of South Bay of Bengal during next 12 hours,” a bulletin of the IMD issued at 8 AM said.

Though no warning has been issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre here, several districts of Odisha may receive light rainfall from October 28.
