Heavy Rainfall Alert Till Friday

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Several parts of Odisha may experience heavy rainfall during next three days as a low pressure has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Bengal.

Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over Northeast & adjoining Eastcentral Bay of Bengal, a Low Pressure Area has formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal & adjoining coastal areas of West Bengal. The associated cyclonic circulation extends upto mid-tropospheric levels. It is likely to become more marked during next 24 hours, the Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, stated in a weather bulletin today.

Due to formation of low pressure, the regional MeT office issued heavy rainfall warning till October 1.
