Odisha to See Another Low Pressure!

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Another low pressure is likely to form over Bay of Bengal in the next 12 hours. On the other hand, remnant of Cyclone Gulab is likely to re-intensify over Arabian Sea, the India Meteorological Department said in its bulletin.
“The cyclonic circulation over East Central & adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal off Myanmar coast now lies over Northeast & adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal extending upto mid-tropospheric levels. Under its influence, a Low Pressure Area is likely to form over Northwest Bay of Bengal off West Bengal & adjoining Bangladesh coasts during next 12 hours,” the bulletin added.
“On the other hand, the Depression (remnant of Cyclone Gulab) over Telangana and adjoining areas of Marathwada & Vidarbha is likely to weaken into a Well Marked Low Pressure Area during next 06 hours. The system is likely to emerge into northeast Arabian Sea and adjoining Gujarat coast around 30th September evening and there is likelihood for the system to further intensify over northeast Arabian Sea during the subsequent 24 hours,” the bulletin said.
