Mercury Rises in Odisha; 10 Districts Record Above 40°C

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): Mercury rises in Odisha. The heat is becoming unbearable with each passing day. The temperature has reached the 40 degree mark in more than 10 districts. The temperature in Titlagarh district of Odisha has reached 41 degrees Celsius. The second hottest town was Chandbali at 40.8 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, Balangir, Bhavanipatna and Boudh recorded 40.5 degrees Celsius. Bhubaneswar and Sonepur recorded 40.2 degrees. Talcher was cooler than Bhubaneswar at 40.1 degrees. Cuttack and Malkangiri both recorded  40 degrees.

The Met Dept has said that temperatures shall rise further in the coming few days.
