8 Critical in Hyva-Bus Collision

Karanjia: As many as 8 persons turned critical after a passenger bus collided with a hyva truck on the ghat road in Mayurbhanj district of Odisha on Monday morning. The accident took place in the Ghula Ghati in Satakosia area under Mahuldiha Police Station limits in Karanjia area.

As per reports, the LAccMi bus collided head-on with a Hyva truck on the ghat road. As a result eight persons who were onboard the bus sustained critical injury.

The bus was going from Thakurmunda to Satkoshia when it collided head-on with the heavy duty truck.

As a result of the collision, both the drivers were crushed under the vehicle while as many as 8 people turned critical as an effect of the accident. All the passengers injured in the accident have been admitted to Anandapur hospital for treatment.

The local police and fire department reached the spot and rescued both the drivers and admitted them to Anandpur hospital.
