7 held For Attacking Police In Koraput  

Koraput (Reporters Today Bureau ): seven people arrested by Odisha police from Meraka village for allegedly attacking police near the Kakiriguma area in Koraput district on Saturday during a protest over the death of a person in a road accident.

As per reports, a motorist ran over by a tipper truck on Friday evening near Kakiriguma police station, after which the villagers staged a protest at Kakiriguma chhaka. The police force gets to the spot at 5 am and tried to evacuate the crowd.

Some women attack the police while they are trying to evacuate the crowd, on the other hand, the deceased’s family members alleged that police took the body in order to get rid of the protest
