7-feet-long crocodile spotted in village pond in Kendrapara

Rajnagar: In a shocking incident, a 7-feet-long giant crocodile was rescued from a pond in Kendarpara. The giant crocodile has been rescued from a pond in Endulapur village of Rajnagar, Kendrapara district in Odisha.

According to reports, the crocodile had entered the pond of Dibakar Sethi of the village. Dibakar informed the Rajnagar Forest Department about this. The crocodile rescue team of the Forest Department reached the spot and rescued the giant crocodile with the help of a net.

Later, the crocodile was released near the Habal Creek. The locals were scared as they spotted the crocodile so close to them.

Recently on June 17, a 6-feet-long crocodile was rescued from the pond of Rajesh Kumar Pati of Dangmal village near Bhitarkanika in Kendrapara district of Odisha.

As per reports, Rajesh’s family members were scared after seeing the crocodile in the pond and informed the forest department. The crocodile rescue team of the forest department reached and was able to rescue the crocodile.

The crocodile was rescued and released in Bhitarkanika.
