30 Injured in Bus-Truck Collision in Khallikote

Khallikote: More than 30 passengers were injured in a road accident after a private bus collided with a truck on National Highway-16 near Langaleswar in Odisha’s Ganjam district on Saturday.
The ill-fated bus, named Balunkeshwar, was en route from Bhubaneswar to Aska when it crashed into the rear of a truck. The impact of the collision left several passengers with serious injuries.
Eyewitnesses reported that the bus driver, conductor, and helper fled the scene immediately after the accident, leaving the injured passengers behind.
Local police rushed to the spot upon receiving information and initiated an investigation into the incident. The critically injured were shifted to Khallikote Hospital for treatment.
Authorities also arranged an alternate bus for passengers with minor injuries, ensuring they received first aid and safely continued their journey.
