2nd Gold for Dutee Chand at Khelo India University Games

Bhubaneswar (Adarsh Rout): Odiasprinter Dutee Chand took her second gold medal at the Khelo India University Games in Bhubaneswar today by winning the 200m event with a timing of 23.66s.

However, her best was at 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, where she clocked 23s in the semifinal and went on to win the silver with a timing of 23.20s.

Yesterday, Dutee had set a new Inter-University record, clocking 11.49s, in the 100m event, which has been her focus for the Olympics.

Dutee Chand is representing the host KIIT University in this event.
