2 including house owner injured by dacoits’ attack

Soro: At least two persons including the house owner were injured by dacoits’ knife attack in Balasore district of Odisha last night. The house owner got critically injured due to the attack but managed to nab the looter.
As per reports, late last night, Ayurvedic doctor Tapan Das of Annapurna Rice Mill under Soro police station limits had gone to Bhadrak with his family. When he returned at around 12:30 at night, the family found suspected activities at their house. They saw that the house was unlocked.
Anyway, the owner and another entered the house. Taking advantage of the darkness, one of the looters escaped. When Doctor Das and his nephew Deepak tried to catch the other looter, he attacked Das on the head with a knife.
Despite attack by the looter they managed to catch the looter. Later, the neighbours also reached the spot and the looter was handed over to the police.
Also, a youth, who behaved suspicious, was caught by people from the overbridge and handed over to the police.
