1st Case Of COVID Delta Plus Variant Reported in Odisha

Bhubaneswar (Reporters Today Bureau): National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Director Dr. SK Singh informed the First case of the Delta Plus variant of COVID-19 has been detected in Odisha today.

As of today, a total of 48 Delta Plus variants detected in the country till date informed Dr. SK Singh, National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) Director.

The Delta Plus variants became a matter of concern for the central government as the strain is seemingly more contagious than sprang from the original Delta variant.
